In July 2000, Louisiana residents Joyce and Eric Burges created the National Black Home Educators Resource Association, a nonprofit organization that provides advice on curriculum materials, pairs new families with veteran home educators, and produces an annual symposium. The Burgeses’ goal is to encourage other African-American families to become more involved in their children’s education. This article tells their personal story and how they have impacted the community in which they live.

It offers professional support and development services to the Department's educational divisions and geographical desks, as well as to Jewish educators and lay leaders world-wide in both formal and informal education. They cover resources in formal and informal Jewish education, with a particular emphasis on materials for youth, students, adults and the educators themselves

Christian Home School Leadership is for Christians involved with local and state wide support groups in any leadership capacity. Those wishing to join this group should already be active and involved in a home school group. Leadership, for this list, includes both those who are appointed or elected to a position (such as board member, newsletter editor, co-op leader)as well as leaders of more informal groups.
